Laila & Lillian (aka Yai-ya & Yiy-yian)

These cuties have been separated far too long.  We FINALLY set up a play date filled with frozen yogurt, sand & lots of curly hair...

Lai will sleep well tonight!

Eating outside is all the rage.

Bring-on summer time snacking on the porch & meals on the deck!

***(FYI - for those interested, I've back-dated some posts of Seaside & U2 so, scroll on down if ya missed 'em.)

This pic demonstrates my children perfectly.
L reading with her flips on the wrong feet & Ax grazing.

Mini's.

Jason's station gifted these amazing costumes to Jeff's kids.  Since N wasn't here, L tried hers on for size.

Seaside.

This was our family's first time to Seaside without Jeff.  It was good, hard, special, emotional & fun all at once.  A ga-jillion pictures were taken but, here are some of the goodies:

Little hand reaching up to see what all the giggles were about...
Happy 6th!

U2.

I went to a U2 concert in Denver 10 years ago.  When we heard they were coming to Seattle, there was no hesitation snatching up some tickets.   Once again, they did not disappoint.

It was one of the most bea-U-tiful days in Seattle which was quite fitting for this amazing song performed with help from Gabrielle Gifford's astronaut husband, Mark Kelly.

Here's the review in the Seattle Times if you're interested.  24 songs in 2 hours of amazingness.  Kinda makes me want to be a groupie & go to the remaining 18 shows on the tour...

U2: best. show. EVER!

Lenny opened.
"The Claw."
Bono.

I pray it won't be another 10 years before I see U2 next...
